Shepherd

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

Just as a shepherd gathers and cares for his flock, God gathers and looks after us, protecting us from the dangers ahead.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd. The closer to His heart we are, the less dependence from the world we will rely on, as the Lord is the provider for His people.

May we all position ourselves under the Good Shepherds care.

“God gathers his people, like a shepherd gathers a flock and carries them close to his heart.” Isaiah 40:11
