You Comfort

“Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

In the days of shepherds and sheep, the rod was used to drive away the predators, and the staff was used to guide the sheep to pastures.

The Lord is the Good Shepherd, His word is the rod and His spirit is the staff. He uses these tools to protect us and lead us down the right path.

“God is the God of all comfort.”
